White Industries R30 Crankarm set

These hardware sets are needed to mount VBC 2x chainrings to outer VBC 2x chainrings. There are two types of VBC 2x chainrings: v1 for the older 9-11 speed ringsv2 for the new 9-12 speed rings. Detailed instructions on mounting this hardware are found here on the White Industries Website

The V2 VBC (Variable Bolt Circle) inner chainring is designed for Shimano and SRAM 9–12 speed 2x drivetrains, including Shimano 105, Ultegra, GRX, and Dura-Ace (9–12 speed) and SRAM Apex, Rival, and Red (10–12 speed), in both mechanical and electronic configurations. As part of the VBC system, this inner ring mounts to a compatible VBC outer ring, allowing multiple inner ring sizes to be used with the same outer ring. The system supports up to five different inner ring sizes and offers as many as 33 possible gear combinations across the range. The V2 inner ring has been completely redesigned with updated tooth profiles and shift ramp geometry for improved shifting performance. It features refined machining details to work seamlessly with the V2 outer ring, including compatibility with five shift pins and a replaceable chain catch pin when paired as a complete set. Like all V2 VBC components, this inner chainring is backwards compatible with all White Industries MR30 series cranks and White Industries direct mount square taper cranks, however it is not compatible V1 outer rings. To sum it all up: 9-speed to 12-speed compatibility, backwards compatibility with our cranks, more chainstay clearance.Chainrings are made from 7075-T6 aluminum (except 48t-52t which are 6061-T6) Available in black anodize or raw/un-anodized silver V2 VBC 2x inner chainrings must be mounted to the outer chainrings in specific positions to ensure proper shifting Refer to the “VBC v2 Chainring Assembly Instructions” when doing maintenance/replacement For a complete set you will need a V2 outer ring and hardware.

The VBC system is built around a 68/86mm bottom bracket and allows you to customize your 2x ring configuration by being able to mix and match your inner and outer ring to create the ultimate gearing suitable for whatever ratio you desire. The R30 is also available with ourTSR 1x narrow wide chain rings. The narrow arms and narrow spindle compliment the svelte lines of any road frame. This R30 is compatible with BSA, T47 and Press Fit 30 systems.
