Walmer Bars are designed to service the rigours and demands of rugged gravel and off-road bikepacking. No handlebar on the market was the right width or shape, so we decided to create our own.
The ability to change hand position regularly prevents pressure and tension build-up, and helps minimise numbness and blisters. A wider handlebar also offers more stability and control, particularly when descending sketchy terrain on a loaded bike. It also gives added leverage when tackling technical climbs.
Specs:
- Walmer Bar: Curve 6066 alloy off-road drop bar. 31.8 at the clamp.
- Extra Long Bar tape, made for Curve by Velo, this tape is anti-slip and 3.2mm thick for shock reduction.
- The 55 & 60 go well on 29er drop bar mountain bike platforms.
