White Industries VBC Chainring Outer
This chain ring is designed to be used as part of the White Industries Variable Bolt Circle (VBC) bicycle crankset. The VBC is a double rather than a triple ring crankset because a traditional triple tends to have a lot of unnecessary gear overlap. The VBC crank is cleaner and less complex and still gives the rider suitable gearing solutions. White Industries offers a large range of gearing options and the rings can be mixed and matched to whatever combination suits your bike and riding needs.
This outer ring has a unique design with a splined ring interfacing to the crank set. An elongated five-window design replaces the more traditional chain ring bolt circle, and these windows allow the inner ring to self center without being confined to a specific bolt circle.
All VBC chain rings are hard black anodized, ramped and pinned.
