With the proven SRAM X-Dome technology, the XG-1299 Eagle 12-speed cassette is one of the toughest and stiffest cassettes on the market. This is achieved by milling the cassette from a block SRAM. This production technology also makes it possible to keep the weight extremely low even with durable steel pinions. Only the 50s end pinion is made of aluminum. Compared to the XX1 cassette, the individual pinions have been optimized for improved shifting performance and improved chain position.
