Jones Gnarwal

Productinformatie "Jones Gnarwal"

The Gnarwal is a simple single tube bonded to a beautifully machined two-piece clamp that attaches to the front of the Loop H-Bar with stainless steel hardware.  It provides a place to hold your hands and to better control the bike while in the most aero position that the H-Bar offers…It’s an aero bar for the H-Bar!

Improvements over the original version:

  • Wider clamp is stiffer and has a more secure grip.

  • One-piece face plate design with more clamping surface that is also easier to install.

  • Lighter design with the tube bonded onto the hollow machined clamp (original design used a bolt and wedge).

  • Now also available in lighter Carbon Fiber version.

You can use the Gnarwal bare, or you can wrap it with bar tape or even install a grip for a larger gripping area.

Besides using the Gnarwal as an aero bar it can function as a mounting location for bike computers, GPS, and sports action cameras.

The carbon version is less thermally conductive than the aluminum version which makes it feel colder in the heat and warmer in the cold.

Why choose a Jones Loop H-Bar?

These handlebars may look unconventional but the bottom line is that they flat out provide better handling and more comfort than a traditional bar. A wide range of better hand and body positions ensure more power, comfort and control. 45 degrees of sweep puts your wrists in a natural and relaxed position for lasting comfort.
The Jones H-Bars are the perfect upgrade for a bikepacking, touring, mountain, road, gravel, commuting, city, or just about any other type of bike! They're also a great replacement for drop bars with more hand positions, comfort, control, and provide more bag and light mounting locations!
The front loop of the bar provides several hand positions and mounting locations for bike computers, lights, GPS devices, sports action cameras and the Jones Gnarwal.  This bar provides comfort and power with an impressive weight.  The long grip area paired with Jones long Grips provide a wide range of hand and body positions, from fully upright at the ends of the grips, to a tucked aero position when resting your forearms across the crossbar and front loop.  In between these extremes, there are many unique and useful positions, making this a true multi-position bar because you'll actually find yourself using all of the positions! The most rearward hand position allows for extra leverage and a wider hand placement - be it for comfort or power.
