The new version of the Maxxis Forekaster has been specially developed
for down country and trail use. This tire closes the gap between the
fast-rolling cross-country tires (Aspen, Rekon, RekonRace and Ikon) and
the downhill-oriented all-mountain and enduro tires (Dissector, Minion,
DHF, DHR2 and Assegai) in the Maxxis portfolio. The new Forekaster is
the perfect companion for long rides on different terrains. The new
tread pattern is characterized by central lugs that are closer together,
which should reduce rolling resistance. In addition, the side lugs have
been enlarged and, thanks to the slitting, offer not only more support
but also grip. The small ribs between the lugs ensure better
self-cleaning.
