We stock a large selection of frames. Most frames are steel, but we also do Titanium, Carbon and even Aluminum! When not in stock, please contact us for delivery time!
Headset
When selecting a frame normally we give a suggestion for a matching headset in the Frame detail page. When including a frame prep, we install the headset, free of extra charge!
Frame Prep
Mounting headset and bottom bracket in a unprepped steel frame can result in premature bearing wear. Most production frames come unprepped, so be smart and include the Frame prep in your order!

Meet the evolution of Timberjack, the hardtail for aggressive trail riding and beyond.
All-new frame geometry makes Timberjack longer, lower, slacker, and steeper in all the right places. This adds up to a fun ride that’s right at home when charging through the trail with body language.
Additional frame mounts let you carry more on the bike, not your back—perfect for bikepackers or trail riders looking to ditch sweaty backpacks.

The mythical mash-up of lion and eagle representing the ostensible clash between drop bars and big knobbly tyres – perfectly harmonious in reality. Released in 2008 it became a cult favourite. More and more people came to appreciate the comfort and versatility of drop bars with the alchemistic pairing of big fat 29″ rubber.
Drawing upon and further evolving the traditions of the legendary bikes of Charlie Cunningham and more contemporaneously Matt Chester, the Gryphon foreshadowed bikes such as the Salsa Fargo and subsequently the advent of ‘gravel’ bikes.
The Gryphon was the first production 29″ wheeled, steel mountain bike frameset designed for use with a drop handlebar.

The Sunliner is Tumbleweeds newest model, it's a fully rigid mountain touring bike built with the same ultra high end steel tubeset and construction as our award winning Stargazer, but with the geometry from the Prospector that has been optimized for flat/swept back bars like our Persuader. The Sunliner has the same non-suspension corrected fork design as the Stargazer, which creates a huge front triangle and allows for maximum framebag space as well as easy fender mounting. The Sunliner can fit up to a 29x3.0" tire and has all of the mounting points for racks, fenders and gear that you would expect for a bike designed from the ground up for off road touring. This bike came about due to requests from two different groups of customers, those who wanted a flat bar expedition bike like the Prospector but built around thru axles and derailleurs instead of the 14 speed Rohloff internally geared hub, and customers who love the Stargazer but prefer riding with flat bars over drop bars. We've been riding prototypes of the Sunliner for about a year now in all sorts of configurations, drivetrains, bag/rack setups, loaded and unloaded and it's a very easy bike to recommend to anyone interested in a versatile and capable all around bikepacking rig.We at JustPedal assemble each bike one at a time and hand build the wheels in house to the customer's specifications. Our Complete Bike Standard Spec is the starting point that we use for each build, and can be changed to suit your needs. The price for a Standard Spec build is about 3800 Euro. Bike delivery times will vary based on availablility of desired components and the number of builds in our queue, the current lead time is approximately 4 weeks for shipping a complete standard build once the parts list is finalized.

The Prospector is a timeless and rugged expedition mountain touring bike, designed around the stalwart Rohloff Speedhub drivetrain. It’s a bike designed to be reliable, tough and field serviceable in the harshest of conditions. In the face of ever changing bicycle part standards and the integration of exotic materials, the Prospector is built to last and to buck the trend of short product cycles and throw away upgrade culture. We believe that the most important features of a reliable expedition bike are a comfortable fit, a tough frame/fork, strong wheels, reliable components, and as much tire/mud clearance as possible.
Fork Options:
135mm Quick Release fork with rear disc spacing: The original fork that we offered with the Prospector, uses the same spacing as the frame
110x15mm Boost thru axle: Allows you to swap between rigid and suspension forks without needing to build a new front wheel.
150x15mm thru axle. The modern fatbike front hub standard. Lots of hub options, wide hub flanges for great spoke triangulation and super strong wheels. You can swap this fork with something like a RockShox Bluto in 80-120mm of travel.

While the Prospector is derailleur compatible, it was designed specifically around the Rohloff SPEEDHUB, a 14 speed internally geared drivetrain that has proven itself to be supremely dependable and capable. We've been using Rohloff hubs on our tours for over a decade and tens of thousands of miles through sand, mud, snow and at elevations of up to 18,000' without issue.
