Omnium Bikes at JustPedal Bikeshop!

The latest addition to our portfolio is the Danish cargo bike brand Omnium. We have been following Omnium since a long time, and because of our personal love for cargo bikes it always have been a brand that we would love to sell. And we think now is the time. With the growing city street congestion we feel the need to support more bikes in the streets, and Omnium is just the brand that blends in with our other brands seamlessly. With our preference for steel bikes, the Omnium bikes are the perfect fit for our little shop! With a compact, yet smart line of models the cargo needs for a wide spectrum of bicyclists is covered. Check the different models below!

We have a Large Cargo and XL e-Mini-Max in the shop, so you can, as always on appointment, come and try one for yourself. Smaller sizes will follow soon!

The Different Models

The most iconic Omnium model is the Cargo. With its large front platform, 20 inch front wheel and large wheel base this is the ultimate fast, yet stable cargo bike. But there is more!

Cargo

The Cargo is also the model with the longest wheelbase, which calls for very stable handling. The wheelbase also allows for great stability when loading the rack on your own, as the weight is positioned in the middle of the front wheel and the kickstand.

Need to pick up your new dream sofa? Easy. Bringing your kid to the daycare before work? No problem! Bring a computer for work or a change of clothes for the gym in a waterproof duffle and you‘re good to go, rain or shine, all year long. The Cargo is available as Human powered bike, or as e-bike with proven Shimano E-cargo support

Mini-Max

The Mini-Max is the middle child of the lot, with the best of both the Cargo and Mini.

The shorter wheelbase makes it handle more like a normal bike, resulting in a tighter turn radius and increased manoeuvrability.

Though the rack lacks the horns seen on the Cargo, it retains extender bar compatibility, and can still take some pretty impressive loads!

The fact that the front wheel is positioned more in the middle of the rack is positive for steering and handling, while stability during heavy loads is slightly less than that of the Cargo.

The Mini-Max is for those who value snappier turns and a tighter parking spot, and aren‘t necessarily looking to max out hauling capabilities on the regular.

Mini

The Mini almost speaks for itself. It’s a normal bike with a front rack on steroids! Its manageable size makes handling familiar, and multimodal transportation a breeze. The rack is ideal for getting around with a load too big for a backpack, and perfect for putting it out front where you can keep an eye on it.

Significant loads on the Mini are a non-issue as long as they are more or less kept within the rack‘s size. The weight of the load has very little influence on steering, giving you surprising amounts of confidence, as the rack‘s support is built directly into the frame. We like to think this is the most playful cargo bike out there!

CXC

The Omnium CXC stands for Cyclo Cross City, and does just that. Commute, gravel, cyclocross, world tour, or alleycat – the CXC will work for you. With 700x45c tire clearance and triple cage fork mounts, this thing is even adventure ready!

Adjustable dropouts let you run singlespeed, fixed, Internal gear hub, or a derailleur. It‘s now also belt drive compatible! We could go on about possibilities, but in short the CXC is a true Swiss Army knife. There is nothing more versatile.

Day Ripper

More than your average commuter, it’s a comfortable city slicker for the spirited soul—inviting you to redefine what a mundane commute is all about whether you’re treading tarmac or crusty paths.

Constructed from high-quality double-butted chromoly steel and paired with 38mm tyres, it promises durability and comfort. The Sram Apex gears and Sram Level TL hydraulic brakes put control and stopping power at your fingertips. It comes with mounts for front and rear racks, mudguards and a kickstand.
