Velocity USA Rims - Velocity USA has been a performance aluminum rim manufacturer for over 25 year! They are now located in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where they manufacture rims and wheels for anyone passionate about bikes! The rim extrusion is sourced from Profile Precision Extrusions in Arizona, and they roll, drill, anodize, build and distribute their rims and wheels from their Grand Rapids factory.

Velocity A23 700c OC MswThe A23 OC rim is the off center version of the popular A23. Off center design allows for dramatically improved spoke tension on a dished wheel. With a wider footprint, the A23 OC allows for a more aerodynamic rim/tire combination when paired with a 23c tire. The tire profile mimics the characteristics of a tubular, gaining increased control and lower rolling resistance without the inconvenience of tubular glue or the dangers of irreparable roadside mechanicals. A tubeless ready design makes this rim ideal for road and cyclocross applications. Tight tolerances require the use of a low profile rim tape like Velotape to avoid tire installation issues. Specifically tuned to be aerodynamically paired with 23-28c road tires, though a 20mm inner width compliments even the most voluminous gravel and ‘cross tires. Tubeless ready. Tight tolerances require the use of a low profile rim tape like Velotape to avoid tire installation issues. Veloplugs are not recommended on Aileron rims.

Velocity Atlas The Atlas is one of our heavier duty rims with a boxy profile which provides a classic look while preventing dings to the rim and preventing pinch flats. As the only rim that we eyelet, it looks great on that vintage bike that you're looking to restore! The eyelets give you a smooth surface that works with your spoke nipples to create a wonderful build. Designed with commuting, touring, for heavier riders with heavier loads, and city-riding in mind, it pairs well with so many more applications.The Atlas is not machined to leave as much material as possible on the sides of the rim - giving you the longest lasting wear and tear rim brake option that we provide. Rim brakes or disc brakes, this is a great option if you're looking for something stylish that withstands your road miles through out the year.
